Title: Trainee (m/f) for Strategic Procurement Projects, Processes and Systems
Tasks:
Daimler's company-wide "CAReer" program for trainees prepares you to assume a challenging role at our company. You are employed by our company on an unlimited basis from the very beginning, and you know what your future unit and function will be. During the program, which lasts from 15 to 18 months, you will work in various administrative and specialist units, including in other countries. In the context of different project assignments you will assume responsibility from the start, which will give you a chance to demonstrate your abilities. You will quickly learn about Daimler AG's products, strategies and business units, and receive the ideal preparation for your future task.
Requirements:
You have completed or are about to complete a degree in Business and Economics, Business Studies, International Management, Business Informatics or Economics with an above-average grade (Ideally a Master's degree. If you have a Bachelor's degree you should be able to show at least 18 months' experience in the relevant field of work).
- During your studies or while on work experience you have gained some experience in the fields of Accounting, Materials Management/Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Process Design, Project Management, System Test Strategies, Web Design and have a passion about automobiles.
- You have an excellent command of English as well as ideally basic knowledge in German and have a strong evidence of intercultural exposure. Several months of relevant, in-depth experience abroad, either during your degree course or independently would be advantageous.
- Knowledge in SAP would be a plus.
- You enjoy working on complex issues both independently and as part of a team in doing so. You show us that you would like to assume a role in coordination and management, are eager to assume responsibility quickly and have the ability to inspire people.
- You are involved in a personal or social capacity alongside your studies. You also attach great value to personal and professional development.
- You feel comfortable in an international working environment and can offer a high degree of mobility and flexibility.
